SOLO PIPING

 

Open Solo Piping events attracted an entry of 13 pipers with a total prize fund of over £3,500.  Warm weather with bright sunshine all day provided excellent conditions and a high standard was evident in all events.
 

Competitors were required to submit ‘4 of each tune’ for all events (except H&J - 3 of each). Tunes were preselected by the judges and notified to competitors 48 hours in advance.
